Thank you to all those who were able to participate in the virtual praise time this morning. We welcome everyone to watch Pastor Derek's sermon "An Escape from Death: A Message for Lent". The link to the sermon is on our website. https://journeyoffaithaz.com
Dear Journey of Faith Family, In light of the recommendation for everyone to avoid groups of more than 10 people, we invite you to join us for virtual worship this Sunday. Please check our church website on Sunday morning for Pastor Derek's message and to give your offering online. https://journeyoffaithaz.com We also encourage you to worship our Lord through praise songs throughout the week. King David found comfort and strength through prayer and praise (the Psalms) and we hope that you and your family will do the same. Playlists can be found on YouTube, Spotify and other mediums. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Psalms 46:1 As a means of doing our part and sharing God's love, the church will make a donation to Pastor Dave Bennett's ministry through Barrio Nuevo. The funds will go towards helping families with loss of income due to childcare issues and those in need of food. If you have any prayer requests or are in need of support in any way, please let us know. God Bless,
Journey of Faith Family, On Wednesday, March 11, the World Health Organization declared the Coronavirus outbreak an official pandemic. Given the seriousness of the situation, we want to make sure we are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe, especially this coming Sunday. With that said, we are still planning to meet for service this coming Sunday with the following modifications: There will be no Sunday school for the children this Sunday. Please have your children close to you during the service There will be no fellowship time/refreshments after service There will be no basketball after service Please ensure social distance meaning, aside from your immediate family household, please sit apart from one another during service (at least a couple of seats of separation from each other) and refrain from physical touch (handshaking, hugs, etc). Last but not least, please stay home if you are not feeling well or have any symptoms of illness. Additionally, please continue to practice good hygiene of washing hands for at least 20 seconds and avoid touching your face. This is a very dynamic situation so we will likely assess week by week so please be on the lookout for additional email messages and website postings. If you are planning on attending Sunday service, we will see you then! Please stay safe everyone!
